More info on upgrades :
✅ SLS printed for even greater durability and the capability to make complex geometry. Increased precision and lower friction compared to FDM.
✅ Rack moved up 0.25mm giving you extra headroom for your sector gear shimming.
✅ Ultra light at only 13g (current iteration is 12.7 but working on minor changes to the swiss cheese holes)
✅ Will come with a CNC billet (yes a block of steel) rack made from 4140 chromoly steel that's been hardened to the perfect hardness for superior wear resistance while still keeping impact resistance. Surface treatment is yet to be decided. The rack is going to have the proper tooth profile for meshing between siegetek and SHS sectors.
Rack and piston are both entirely designed around each other. They are an extremely snug fit around every edge and the geometry is designed to spread the impact of the pickup into the entire section between the 1st and 3rd tooth. The rack fits perfectly flush to the edge of the body.
